Past Events

Franchise Coaches, together with ABSA, was the co-founder of one of the largest franchising conferences in South Africa, which was held on the 25th and 26th August 2021

FASA, in association with and sponsored by Absa, and in collaboration with Franchise Coaches and GroeGlobal, is staging a virtual recovery business network and educational conference over two days and in two concurrent session tracks bringing together local, African and international participants to give a broader view of the viability of franchising. We are inviting stakeholders and the public to join them in a key conference to be held virtually on the 25 and 26 August 2021 that will serve to review and reboot the sector.

Nonkhonde and I speak about how to handle franchisees in these difficult times, whilst still maintaining a strong leadership presence

FASA, in association with and sponsored by Absa, and in collaboration with Franchise Coaches and GroeGlobal staged a virtual recovery business network and educational conference over two days and in two concurrent session tracks bringing together local, African and international participants to give a broader view of the viability of franchising. We invited key stakeholders and the public to join virtually on the 25 and 26 August 2021.

Below are two videos from the conference. The first one is on how to manage the franchisor/franchisee relationship (conducted by myself  and Nonkande Kasonde-van Broek, winner  of the Marshall Goldsmith 2021 Thinkers 50 award). The second is an interview with Gareth Ackerman, Chairman of Pick 'n Pay on the state of franchising in South Africa
